2010 Analog Alpha Jacket, Size L
At first glance I love this jacket, the color way is sick and I love the ¾ zipper design. Cool and something different you don’t see very often. I thought it would be a hassle to have to take the jacket off over my head every time but I didn’t mind it at all.
Stoked On:
- ¾ zipper design is cool and something different.
- The hood is great and a good size with a cinch up cord on the back.
- I love the inside fabric on the inside of the zipper right by your mouth, it’s a soft fleece material. I hate it when other jackets get iced up and chafe up your chin.
- The inside chest pocket is huge and I love it, it’s easy to get into and fan fit a bunch of junk in there.
- Lower outside pockets are a very good size, one has a season pass holder which is pretty standard now days.
- I absolutely love the medium fill this jacket has. I am not a huge fan of a shell because I don’t want to feel like Randy going to school in the movie A Christmas Story with 5 layers on when I ride “ I can’t get up”, and it’s a rare case when it is cold enough for a down coat. This is a great in between to just throw a long sleeve first layer on underneath and head out the door.
Kinda Lame:
- For sure by biggest dislike is the material this jacket is made of. It is very thin. I have only used it half a season and already have one decent size tear and a snag or two. I have owned some Analog stuff in the past and their stuff is always bullet proof. What happened?
- I know some jackets have a zipper on the outside of the jacket by the main zipper that you can access that pocket, that way you don’t have to unzip your whole jacket to access the inside chest pocket.
Honorable Mention:
- Powder skirt with pant to jacket zipper capability. I didn’t really use this that often because I like to sag my pants a little.
